20 Tech Companies Hiring In The IT Channel: May 2024

This month, Long View Systems, T-Rex Solutions and NexusTek are among the solution providers to list open positions while Secureworks, Deepwatch and Five9 are among the vendors to list open positions for channel-related roles.
CRN has looked at open listings on LinkedIn that would bring talent into the channel — either by working with a partner or by working with a vendor to support partners.

Open Jobs In The IT Channel
Open roles include:
- A security architect who can make at least $150,000 a year with Long View
- A database administrator making at least $75,000 a year with T-Rex
- A network engineer who can make at least $90,000 a year with NexusTek
- A regional channel manager with Secureworks
- A channel marketing manager who can make at least $100,000 a year with Deepwatch
- A channel sales manager for its western region who can make at least $58,300 a year with Five9
All the hiring comes despite multiple tech companies cutting their employee rosters amid high inflation and a low unemployment rate of 3.9 percent.
Recent employee cuts have hit Google, ConnectWise and Pax8.
Here are some of the latest job openings in the channel.
Tufin
Tufin has an opening this month for a channel account manager, according to LinkedIn.
The Boston-based security policy management vendor seeks a manager who can “execute our channel business plan which includes expanding our sales, technical, and management relationships at Tufin Partners,” according to LinkedIn.
The manager will “profile and collect relevant information on partner GTM for proper alignment” and “generate increased partner contacts, account mapping sessions, GTM programs and educate through sales training, also leveraging our best-in-class Partner Portal,” among other responsibilities.
Candidates should have “at least 5-years in channel development and partner management in the high-tech software industry,” according to the listing.
Tufin is a member of CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs.
Infinera
Those interested in a job as a channel sales director for strategic partners might consider this post on LinkedIn by Infinera.
The San Jose, Calif.-based telecommunications vendor seeks a director who handle “overall responsibility for the strategy, objectives and partner sales plans for strategic partners in North America (System Integrator and Value Added Distributors),” according to the LinkedIn post.
The hire will “develop and maintain strong relationships with partners using available internal and external resources, to maximize revenue opportunities and sustain Infinera as a strategic, long-term partner,” among other responsibilities.
Candidates should have “10+ years of experience in telecommunications consulting, services and/or sales,” according to the post.
Five9
This month, Five9 seeks a channel sales manager for its western region who can make at least $58,300 a year, per a LinkedIn listing.
The San Ramon, Calif.-based cloud contact center tools provider wants this manager “to help expand our industry leading partner ecosystem” in California and Nevada, according to the LinkedIn post.
Responsibilities for this position include managing “the sale of Five9 products and services through named national and (potentially global) partners” and developing “an enablement strategy to attract, develop and maintain relationships with various distributors, resellers, or agents.”
Candidates should have “4+ years of experience in software sales, partner development, or business development within a cloud-based environment” and a “Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience,” according to the listing.
Five9 has about 1,400 channel partners worldwide and about 1,250 in North America, according to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs.
Deepwatch
Deepwatch seeks a channel marketing manager this month, with the salary listed as at least $100,000 a year, according to a LinkedIn listing.
The Tampa, Fla.-based managed security platform provider will task this manager with supporting “our channel team and our channel partner businesses with the overall development and management of programs, campaigns, and activities that drive pipeline and revenue growth,” according to the LinkedIn listing.
The hire will “align with Channel and Technology Alliance Leaders to understand the market trends and customize programs as needed to help drive quota attainment goals” and “manage marketing plans with partners on a quarterly basis including but not limited to email, event, promotional, tradeshow, lunch and learns, webinar programs, and campaigns,” among other tasks.
Candidates should have “experience and/or knowledge of Deepwatch alliance partners’ technologies (i.e. Splunk, AWS, Crowdstrike, Tenable, PAN, Sentinel One, etc.)” and “experience with Marketing Automation Platform and CRM systems; Salesforce.com and Hubspot are preferable.”

Druva
Jobseekers interested in a role as a senior channel sales operations analyst might look to an opening at Druva listed on LinkedIn this month.
The Santa Clara, Calif.-based data resiliency platform vendor seeks an analyst who can “own the administration of most systems that sales & channel touch,” according to LinkedIn.
The analyst’s tasks will include support for “the roadmap of Projects and System Initiatives that align with Sales Strategy and business needs” and managing “data integrity and reporting in Salesforce,” according to the post.
Candidates should have “7+ years experience (in a high-tech environment, in a Sales Operations role)” and a bachelor’s degree.

TPx
TPx seeks a level one channel manager who can make at least $100,000 a year, according to LinkedIn.
The Austin, Texas-based unified communications vendor wants this hire to generate and manage “sales by recruiting and managing agent relationships,” according to the LinkedIn post.
The hire will educate “customers on the value of TPx as a business continuity partner by articulating the value of the services we provide” and provide “ongoing agent channel management by forecasting, tracking productivity, making program modifications when necessary.”
Candidates should have at least “5 years’ sales experience working within the telecommunications industry” and “3 years’ sales experience working within the Agent Channel either for a carrier or Telecom Agency,” according to the listing.

ZeroFox
ZeroFox has an opening for a channel account manager (CAM) who will “support the continued and rapid growth of the Channel Program in North America,” according to a LinkedIn post.
The Baltimore-based security vendor wants the CAM to “be responsible for managing existing and building new Central Territory partner relationships in the United States & Canada, and working with the ZeroFox sales team to generate top-of-funnel pipelines.”
Candidates should have at least five years of “channel Account Management experience in North American markets with a proven track record of success,” according to the listing.
Secureworks
Secureworks lists on LinkedIn this month an opening for a regional channel manager.
The Atlanta-based cybersecurity vendor wants this manager to cover the Eastern United States “in tandem with peer field sales teams and focus Partners to drive incremental business and net new logo acquisition,” accordingto the LinkedIn post.
Responsibilities for the manager will include recruiting and managing “key Partners that meet Program criteria” and owning “oversight of sales & technical enablement of Partners.”
According to the post, candidates should have a “minimum of 7 years of sales experience (Channel, Partner, Distribution)” and “3 years of cyber security experience.”

CommScope
CommScope has a listing this month on LinkedIn for a channel account manager.
The Hickory, N.C.-based telecommunications vendor will task this hire with working “cross-functionally to build, optimize, and lead programs that define and detail the working relationship between CommScope and channel partners,” according to the LinkedIn post.
The hire will develop “run rate program and sales acceleration plans to drive channel growth and improve loyalty” and establish and maintain “positive and proactive relationships with distributor and channel partner management and sales teams to build focus and drive sales activity,” according to the post.

On LinkedIn this month, NexusTek has an opening for a network engineer who can make at least $90,000 a year.
