SuperOps Joins Pax8 Marketplace: We Came In ‘Looking To Disrupt’
- by nlqip
‘We came into this space looking to disrupt the space and to change the status quo,’ says Juan Fernandez, SuperOps’ global channel chief. ‘Their approach to the market and how they’re going to market is very similar to the way we are. A lot of other distribution points were not looking for a similar type of relationship. Pax8 was looking for something different.’
SuperOps has partnered with Pax8, becoming the first PSA-RMM tool available through the Pax8 Marketplace.
Arvind Parthiban, co-founder and CEO of Clayton, Del.-based SuperOps, said he’s been hearing “a lot of requests” from SuperOps customers to partner with Pax8 “from the early days.”
“The market is going through an evolution,” Parthiban said. “There is need for future state vendors to come and change the way the MSP landscape is going to be in the future.”
Juan Fernandez, global channel chief for SuperOps, said Pax8 and SuperOps have an archetype to disrupt, so selling through Pax8 was a perfect fit.
“We came into this space looking to disrupt the space and to change the status quo,” Fernandez (pictured) told CRN in an exclusive interview. “Their approach to the market and how they’re going to market is very similar to the way we are. A lot of other distribution points were not looking for a similar type of relationship. Pax8 was looking for something different.”

SuperOps’ mission is to help partners become more efficient, effective, process-driven and profitable. To that end, SuperOps is offering Project Vision X, which teaches MSPs the mechanics of managed services.
“Vision X gives them the opportunity to visualize customer profitability and process and automation and all the things they need to change inside their business,” he said. “This is why joining together [with Pax8] makes so much sense because everything they’re doing and everything we’re doing is aligned to our partners’ success.”
With SuperOps, Pax8 partners can leverage a unified solution to streamline workflows and scale operations on everything from service delivery to documentation and project management.
“I’m thrilled to add SuperOps to our marketplace as the first in its category,” said Ryan Walsh, co-founder and chief strategy officer at Greenwood Village, Colo.-based Pax8. “Their commitment to partners, innovation and in particular to the Pax8 partnership as a marketplace sets them apart.”
Steve Rumancik, founder and CEO of Independence, Ohio-based Peak Technology, said although he is not currently a Pax8 partner the partnership with SuperOps presents a compelling reason for him to become one.
“At Peak Technology, we strive to utilize SuperOps extensively, and the ability to streamline our quoting, ordering and billing process without the need to switch between browser tabs will be a significant improvement for our operations,” he said.
