Speccy is a tool that provides detailed information about the hardware components and operating system of the computer it is run on.  This information is extremely valuable when you want to upgrade existing hardware, find out what specific hardware is installed on your computer, and whether or not the current hardware matches the system requirements for a software you are installing.

Note: This download is for the portable version, but has the same functionality as the one you install. Piriform started bundling toolbars in their installation products, so we switched to hosting the portable version.

Speccy will analyze your computer and display a report of the make and model of all installed hardware found on your computer.  This includes:

• Motherboard
• CPU
• RAM (Including what RAM slots on your motherboard are being used)
• Optical Drives
• Graphics Cards
• Hard Drives
• Audio
• Peripherals
• Network
• Access hardware sensors on various components and report their current temperature.

Speccy also allows you to save a report of your computer’s hardware in the event that you wish to share it with another person or support forum for troubleshooting purposes.
