‘I was impressed by Auvik’s ability to innovate while creating a product that is easy to implement, as well as their proven track record of delivering exceptional customer value and placing the customer first,’ says Mark Ralls, Auvik’s new president.
Auvik Wednesday said it appointed a new president and a new chief sales officers to chart the next phase of growth for the company.
Mark Ralls (pictured) joins Auvik as president and Bryan Getz joins as chief sales officer of the Waterloo, Canada-based software vendor.
Ralls has more than 20 years of operating experience at an array of software companies. As president, he will be responsible for all customer-facing functions including marketing, sales and customer success, Auvik said.
“I was impressed by Auvik’s ability to innovate while creating a product that is easy to implement, as well as their proven track record of delivering exceptional customer value and placing the customer first,” he told CRN in an email.
Previously, he served as president and COO of Austin, Texas-based Invicti Security where he helped the company disrupt the web application security testing market and introduced new and innovative solutions to help businesses secure their web application attack surface. Prior to Invicti, he held leadership roles at SolarWinds, Social Solutions and Vista Equity Partners.
“We are expanding our product portfolio with Auvik SaaS Management, and we have more exciting announcements coming,” he said. “These products are a natural fit for the channel, enabling our partners to address a wider spectrum of customer needs and deliver greater value.”
Getz joins Auvik with 20 years of experience in sales leadership in Silicon Valley, driving revenue growth and managing SaaS platforms.
“We are making strategic investments in our [go-to-market] motion, especially increasing our marketing focus and spend with our channel partners,” he told CRN. “Auvik has achieved great traction in the channel and as we spin up additional marketing support we’re only going to accelerate our impact.”
In his new role, Getz will drive new logo adoption of Auvik’s platform and expand the current customer base.
Prior to joining Auvik, he served in a variety of sales leadership roles at companies such as Druva, Cohesity, Applatix and Data Domain.
Auvik currently manages more than four million SaaS applications, representing a 700 percent increase in 2023 alone. In the last year, the company has also grown its channel partnerships from three to about 100 after investing heavily in its channel marketing efforts and expanding its channel team.
“I am thrilled to welcome Mark and Bryan as the newest members of Auvik’s leadership team,” said Auvik CEO Doug Murray in a statement. “Their respective track records of building successful SaaS businesses are impressive, and their experience will play an instrumental role in Auvik’s next chapter. The addition of their skill sets accelerates our mission to reduce friction for IT teams depending on Auvik for managing diverse technology stacks.”
