All The Accenture Acquisitions Of 2024 (So Far)

More than doubling the amount of acquisitions over the same period last year, Accenture is focusing on expanding its footprint into “new growth areas” and completed 27 acquisitions in 2024 so far.
The Dublin-based global solution provider, No. 1 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500, completed 12 acquisitions in the first half of 2023.
“We have built our expertise in making strategic acquisitions over the last decade, leveraging a strong balance sheet. We have used this expertise to expand into new growth areas, scale in hot areas and geographies and continue to build strength in our industry and functional consulting,” said Accenture CEO Julie Sweet during the company’s Q3 earnings call this month. “And then finally, remember we invest in acquisitions to drive organic growth. So it’s all about future growth. I gave a lot in the script today to just help bring to life just how strategic our ability to invest is as we think about future growth.”
The company reported revenue of $16.5 billion, a decrease of one percent, for its third quarter of 2024 in U.S. dollars, an increase of 1.4 percent in local currency compared to the third quarter of fiscal 2023.
New bookings were recorded at $21 billion, up 22 percent over last year. Generative AI new bookings were recorded at more than $900 million for a total of $2 billion fiscal year to date.
“We achieved strong new bookings of over $21 billion, up 22 percent over last year, and continued to accelerate our strategy to be the reinvention partner of choice, with another 23 clients with quarterly bookings of over $100 million, bringing the total of such bookings to 92 year-to-date,” Sweet said. “We also achieved two significant milestones this quarter, with $2 billion in generative AI sales year-to-date and $500 million in revenue year-to date which demonstrate our early lead in this critical technology.”

Here are the 27 companies Accenture acquired so far this year from least to most recent. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

6point6 is a London-based technology consultancy that specializes in cloud, data and cybersecurity. The company enhances Accenture’s strategy and architecture capabilities with a specific focus on central government, defense and security and financial services.
About 400 technologists came over in the acquisition, completed in January, to serve Accenture client needs across the U.K.
OnProcess Technology
OnProcess Technology is a Boston-based provider of supply chain managed services. The company helps organizations refine processes, improve inventory management and solve complex service challenges.
The company specializes in reverse logistics and after-market and service supply chain, creating more circular operations by leveraging automation, AI and data-led decision-making. More than 1,500 employees came over in the acquisition which was completed in January.
Vocatus
Munich-based Vocatus uses behavioral economics modeling to build pricing strategies and sales concepts for B2B and B2C models. The acquisition, which was completed in January, strengthens Accenture’s modeling capabilities for European clients.
More than 50 team members joined Accenture’s Corporate Strategy, Growth and Pricing practice.
Work & Co.
Work & Co. is a New York-based global digital product company that merges design, technology and innovation to help companies create innovative products and experiences. The acquisition, announced in January, reinforces the continued investment by Accenture Song which creates new ways for its clients to grow while meeting their customers’ changing needs.
About 400 employees across the United States, Europe and Latin America will join Accenture Song.
Navisite
Navisite is a New York-based digital transformation and managed services provider. The company scale’s Accenture’s application and infrastructure managed services capabilities to help clients across North America modernize their IT for the AI era.
The Andover, Mass.-based company brought about 1,500 employees to Accenture’s infrastructure engineering practice to help clients accelerate their cloud transformations.
Impendi
Impendi is a sourcing and procurement services provider with a focus on private equity clients which will expand a critical capability to Accenture’s growing offerings.
New York-based Impendi helps private equity organizations with sourcing and procurement decisions that increase their profitability and improve the bottom line of their portfolio companies. About 130 team members in the U.S. and India came over in the acquisition that was announced in January.
Ammagamma
Italy-based Ammagamma helps companies advance their scope of AI and generative AI technologies. This acquisition, completed in January, is part of Accenture’s $3 billion investment to scale clients’ transformation through the large-scale application of AI.
More than 90 AI experts joined Accenture’s including engineers, mathematicians, economists, historians, philosophers and designers.
Insight Sourcing
Atlanta-based Insight Sourcing is a provider of strategic sourcing and procurement services. The company broadens Accenture’s sourcing and procurement services for private equity companies and in the consumer goods, retail, technology and industrial industries.
The company strengthens Accenture with expertise in cost takeout strategy powered by category and supplier market intelligence. About 220 sourcing consultants joined Accenture’s sourcing and procurement practice.
GemSeek
GemSeek is a customer experience analytics provider helping businesses worldwide understand customers through insights, analytics and AI-powered predictive models. The acquisition, announced in February, compliments Accenture’s ongoing investment by Accenture Song.
Headquartered in Bulgaria, GemSeek brings more than 170 employees working across Bulgaria and the U.K. who will join Accenture Song to grow its footprint across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Mindcurv
Mindcurv is a cloud-native digital experience and data analytics company that specializes in composable software, digital engineering and commerce services.
Headquartered in Essen, Germany, Mindcurv brought more than 700 experts over in the acquisition, announced in February, based across 13 locations including the Netherlands, Spain and India. Team members will join Accenture Song’s commerce practice.
Jixie
Jixie is a business of media and marketing technology company, which will be integrated into Accenture to strengthen its marketing transformation capabilities and resources through Accenture Song. Headquartered in Singapore, Jixie will help Indonesian clients deliver personalized experiences to enhance customer engagement for business growth.
The integration of Jixie’s platform into Accenture Song’s marketing capabilities will help clients enhance customer data effectively and efficiently into actionable insights. The number of employees coming over in the acquisition were not disclosed.
The Lumery
The Lumery is a Melbourne, Australia-based marketing technology consultancy that helps organizations deliver seamless customer experiences and marketing services. The acquisition, announced in March, strengthens the marketing transformation capabilities of Accenture Song.
About 80 people across Melbourne, Sydney and Bengaluru, India were set to join Accenture Song’s marketing practice.
Udacity
Udacity is a Mountain View, Calif.-based digital education firm with expertise in the development and delivery of proprietary technology courses that merge the flexibility of online learning with the benefits of human instruction.
More than 230 professionals join Accenture LearnVantage, announced in March, which provides Accenture’s clients with comprehensive technology learning and training services.
Arns Group
Arηs Group is a Luxembourg-based technology services provider focused on supporting public sector transformation across Europe. The acquisition, announced in March, will further Accenture’s public service offering.
With more than 2,330 team members across Luxembourg, Belgium and Greece, Arns Group focuses on work with the European Union such as the EU Commission and its various institutions and member state organizations.
Flo Group
Flo Group, a European consultancy and Oracle business partner specializing in global supply chain logistics, was acquired in March. The acquisition further bolsters Accenture’s Oracle capabilities in Europe to help clients build more resilient and agile supply chains that provide end-to-end visibility.
Headquartered in Rotterdam, the Netherlands with offices in Argentina and India, Flo brings 280 people to Accenture’s Oracle Business Group to enhance its capabilities to help clients design their digital core.
Intellera Consulting
Intellera Consulting is an Italy-based consulting firm which operates in the public administration and healthcare sectors. The acquisition, announced in April, aligns with Accenture’s continued focus on helping Italian public service organizations enhance and transform their citizen services.
Intellera Consulting brings along a team of more than 1,400 employees working to facilitate the use of EU funds across the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
Climb
Climb is a Tokyo-based technology services provider specializing in system integration, IT infrastructure management and operations. The acquisition of Climb, announced in April, brings critical skills for global organizations in Japan to navigate technology change.
About 200 engineers proficient in cloud, security technologies and application management services are joining Accenture Technology.
Axis Corporate
Axis Corporate, a Spanish management and technology business consulting firm specialized in financial services, was announced to join Accenture in April. Axis Corporate bolsters Accenture’s strategy and technology offerings that allow companies in Spain to reinvent their business models.
Axis Corporate’s brings about 110 specialized professionals to join Accenture’s Strategy & Consulting practice.
Unlimited
Unlimited, a London-based integrated customer engagement agency, will become part of Accenture Song. The acquisition will enhance Accenture Song’s capability to scale its offerings around generative AI.
With expertise in behavioral science, customer strategy and CRM activation, the acquisition of Unlimited enhances Accenture Song’s capabilities to drive marketing transformation, relevance, and growth for its clients. About 600 employees came over in the deal.
Cognosante
Accenture Federal Services acquired Cognosante, an Arlington, Va.-based provider of digital transformation and cloud modernization solutions for federal health, defense, intelligence and civilian agencies.
More than 1,500 employees will join Accenture Federal Services’ more than 14,000 people.
Parsionate
Parsionate is a Stuttgart, Germany-based data consultancy specializing in data products and modern data foundation services. The company’s services range from data strategy development to technology implementation.
A team of 130 professionals, from data consultants and architects to engineers, will join Accenture Technology’s Data & AI group.
Soko
Soko is an independent Brazilian creative agency that develops brand stories. Soko will join creative agency Droga5, deepening the agency’s influence in Brazil while strengthening the market’s brand capabilities within Accenture Song.
Acquired in May, Soko will bring more than 300 employees to Droga5 São Paulo.
OpenStream Holdings
OpenStream Holdings, and its subsidiaries Open Stream and Neutral, help clients reinvent their businesses with data-driven digital technologies. The Tokyo-based company will enhance Accenture’s business by bringing a strong client portfolio and automation solutions for the entire product value chain.
The acquisition will add about 1,000 cloud and other digital experts to Accenture’s cloud and digital engineering and manufacturing teams. The team will deepen Accenture’s capabilities to support clients in system and application modernization and help them adopt cloud, data, AI and IoT technologies.
Partners in Performance
Partners in Performance is a Sydney-based global strategy consulting firm focusing on business performance improvement in asset-intensive industries leveraging data and AI capabilities. The firm will strengthen Accenture’s offering to clients in industries such as metals and mining, oil and gas, utilities and chemicals.
About 400 Partners in Performance’s team members will join Accenture Strategy.
Teamexpat
Teamexpat is a Netherlands-based embedded software specialist for complex high-tech products and systems. The firm’s software engineering expertise will strengthen Accenture’s connected products capabilities for clients in the semiconductor and manufacturing industries.
The number of employees coming over in the acquisition was not disclosed.
Customer Management IT and SirfinPA
Customer Management IT and SirfinPA are a pair of jointly owned Italian consultancies that operate in close synergy and offer innovative services and technology solutions in the justice and public safety sectors.
The acquisition aligns with Accenture’s focus on helping Italian public service agencies build their digital core and deliver enhanced services. The deal, which closed in May, brings over more than 300 professionals to Accenture.
FiberMind
Fibermind is an Italy-based network services company specializing in fiber and mobile 5G networks deployment and infrastructure engineering services. The acquisition, announced in June, will strengthen Accenture’s capabilities in the domain and extend network services to clients across multiple industries.
The company will bring more than 400 professionals to Accenture Operations with expertise in network design, permits management, technical office and local directive project management office work, network acceptance testing, network documentation and home connection.
